This month sees the official launch of our riding holiday packages which we hope will see equestrian enthusiasts visit the Isle of Wight to holiday and enjoy the many beach riding and trail riding opportunities available.
We will be offering both horse riding weekends and midweek short riding breaks with guests able to stay in our luxury self-catering accommodation and enjoy the equestrian centre facilities on site including our 60m by 40m outdoor fibrewax sand school, on site off-road hacking track and for later in 2018 our indoor riding arena which will include a café, restaurant, shop and classroom as well as a fibrewax 60m by 25m sandschool for year round all-weather riding lessons.
The Isle of Wight is blessed with hundreds of miles of safe bridleways linking across the Island and guests can take in spectacular views on either guided or self-guided riding tours including the Tennyson Trail.
Being a ‘relatively small’ island, the Isle of Wight has lots of sandy beaches in easy reach of our central location so there is a good choice of different beach rides for your holiday. We are able to offer beach riding for novices up to experienced and advanced riders and if you want to bring your own horse on holiday for a beach ride we have stabling available onsite in our own DIY horse bed and breakfast!
Our horse riding breaks will give beginners the chance to learn to ride or established riders the chance to develop their dressage or show jumping with lessons from our qualified instructors on horses and ponies that will be matched to the riders’ ability.
The holiday units can cater for larger groups of riders too with units sleeping 2 to 12 guests at a time. Some of our units have been purpose built to cater for disabled guests too with downstairs bedrooms and wet-rooms and as an RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) accessible kite mark centre we have accessible riding facilities and qualified instructors on site too.
So why not give a UK riding holiday a go and explore the Isle of Wight from horseback!
